Due to COVID-19, nurses across the country have been on the frontlines to help people in need. The sacrifices they have made and the courage they have shown is truly immeasurable. While they may not wear capes, they are true heroes.
To give back to nurses in Colorado, Denver Closet Factory ran a Nominate a Nurse campaign thanks to Brooke Lestikow’s amazing idea. Colorado nurses were nominated by loved ones to be in the running to win a custom closet makeover.
When word got out about the Nominate a Nurse campaign, other local businesses also wanted to contribute to give back to the heroes of their community. Sheryl Hadley of Organization and Relocation offered to professionally organize the closet of the winning nurse. Molly and Cyndi with MC Pillows gave away a designer toss pillow to each nominee while Beau Jo’s Pizza gave away a $50 gift card to each nominee.
With plenty of entries, picking one lucky nurse wasn’t easy. On the day of announcing the winner of the custom closet giveaway, the nominees were thrilled to discover that rather having just one winner, Denver Closet Factory would actually be rewarding five nurses to win the closet of their dreams.
