Tool Storage Solutions

Garage organization usually takes several days to complete. So for now, concentrate on getting all of your important tools back where they belong in the garage.

What you need:

1. Medium-size plastic bin

2. New slat wall, pegboard and/or hooks (optional)

Estimated work time: 2-3 hours

What to do:

1. Walk the house, front yard and back yard, gathering all of the tools and supplies that belong in the garage.

2. Bring them back to the garage and store them where they belong. If necessary, create a hanging wall with slat wall or pegboard for frequently used tools.

3. Walk the garage and do the same thing so that tools that are in the wrong place are put away properly. If time, check your cars for tools and ask neighbors to return tools that they have borrowed from you.
