The Project
Reimagining a
Garage Layout
In this high-traffic garage that doubled as a daily entryway, the Hinton family needed storage that could keep up with their busy lifestyle.
Closet Factory was brought in to rethink the garage space entirely, designing a custom built-in solution that could manage the flow of everyday life with ease. Every inch was reconsidered to support the family’s routines, from sports practice to home maintenance to outdoor entertaining.

Bringing the Vision to Life
-
Built-In Drop Zone
A built-in drop zone creates an everyday entry point, with beadboard paneling, a wood-look bench, individual shoe cubbies, and hooks for bags and jackets.
-
Slat Wall Paneling for Tools
Slat wall panels above the counter create a versatile tool zone, with hooks to keep drills, saws, and accessories at arm’s reach. Upper cabinets allow for overflow storage while maintaining a streamlined look.
-
Custom Cabinets Hide Household and Pet Supplies
Custom cabinets house everything from paper towels to pet supplies neatly hidden behind sleek gray doors.
-
Wire Baskets for Shoes, Yard Gear, and Sports Equipment
Wire baskets on the lower levels help corral loose items like balls, yard gear, and shoes, adding airflow and visibility.
-
Durable Work Station
A durable work surface gives space to complete home improvement projects without taking over the house. Deep drawer bases provide pull-out access to tools, hardware, and supplies keeping them hidden but handy.
A Garage Designed
to Make Life Easier
From the moment you walk in from the garage, this space is built to make life easier. It’s not just a place to park the car, it’s a smart hub for everything that happens outside (and inside) the home.
