I have been in the design industry for the past 8 plus years with a background ranging from kitchen and bath design to interior design and project management for home builders.
I came to Closet Factory to utilize my design skills in a new way. I love creating spaces that can be beautiful but also functional for your lifestyle.
My job is so rewarding to me, I get to meet amazing people and create lasting relationships with them. Nothing is more rewarding than having happy clients send me pictures of their space months after I have worked with them.
“I am a Veronika FAN! We remodeled our master bedroom and added a walk in closet. We gave Veronika a budget, she asked what things were most important to us and went from there. She didn’t try to over-sell us but made suggestions of features she thought we would really use and like that we didn’t even think about! She was spot on! She is personal, professional and just a gem! She has talked about other projects that she has done to show us various options. As she has talked about her other projects as well as mine you can tell she has her client’s best interest at heart. She did so well with our closet that I hope to have her help me with other things.“

“How do you first approach a space? In other words, what’s the first thing you think about when you first see a client’s closet space/storage problem?”
“What is the biggest design obstacle you’ve overcome? i.e. awkwardly angled walls, electrical sockets in bizarre places, big collections in small spaces.”
One of my biggest design obstacle to overcome was trying alter a design to cut cost on a GIANT entertainment center while still keeping with the look and wishes my client had. Finding a creative way to cut down size to still fit his large television and match the color of his kitchen cabinets across the room was a fun challenge for me. I wound up creating a 9×11 unit with a melamine structure and hand stained wood trim and doors to give it a higher end look but keeping cost where it needed to be.
“Since collaboration is such an integral part of the design process, how do you like to engage or connect with clients in order to help them realize their vision for a space?”
TI love working with visuals such as pictures to collaborate with my clients for their spaces. I find it helps us both get across what we are trying to communicate with each other and also can help guide the process along with questions or styles they may have not even thought of beforehand.
“How are you inspired by a home’s existing décor? Is there anything specific that you look for during an in-home consultation?”
“What are some ways a custom designed home office can improve productivity? In other words, how does the right type of home office help people do business?”
A custom home office can help you stay organized your own way. We all work differently and having a space customized to you can help everything function more efficiently.
“What are some modern organizational trends, or what’s a trend you’re looking for?”
My favorite trend right now for organization is the idea of simplicity, clean lines with small simple details with natural tones.
Each of our custom systems is completely personalized and begins with a complimentary design appointment.
