My passion for design and the desire to be creative is what drew me to Closet Factory. From an early age, I have been intrigued by design andI greatly enjoy the aspect of problem solving. I find it very exciting to see my ideas come together in a finished design. My ultimate goal at Closet Factory is to work closely with my clients, helping to transform an existing space, or create a new one.
“I wanted to say thank you! The closet came out beautifully. The guys were super efficient and nice. They cleaned up afterwards. This was a great experience. Looking forward to doing my walk-in closet!”

“Everything looks really great. Thanks so much for your help designing and getting everything setup for us! Will let you know about future projects.”

“How do you first approach a space? In other words, what’s the first thing you think about when you first see a client’s closet space/storage problem?”
When I first enter my client’s closet or area of concern, I try to get a good feel of the overall space and the surrounding areas. I sketch out an overhead floor plan, making sure there will be easy access from doorways and obstructions.
“What is the biggest design obstacle you’ve overcome? i.e. awkwardly angled walls, electrical sockets in bizarre places, big collections in small spaces.”
I’m currently working on a project in a large attic room where the walls are all angled. I had to come up with a design to maximize my client’s hanging space by puling the closets forward to maximize height while still being able to move freely.
“Since collaboration is such an integral part of the design process, how do you like to engage or connect with clients in order to help them realize their vision for a space?”
I use blue painter’s tape, which I place on my client’s floor. This way, they can see how their space will be used and how they can access their things. Photos of previous jobs are always great to show for inspiration, too.
“How are you inspired by a home’s existing décor? Is there anything specific that you look for during an in-home consultation?”
I like to see how my clients decorate. It helps with my design and the materials I can show them. I can then try to incorporate it into their new space.
“What are some ways a custom designed home office can improve productivity? In other words, how does the right type of home office help people do business?”
Many people work from home these days. It’s important to have a well organized work space which will in turn increase productivity!
“What are some modern organizational trends, or what’s a trend you’re looking for?”
