MY ADVICE:

• Declutter. If you haven’t worn something in over 1 year, its time to donate.

• Hang your clothes within categories (blouses, pants, skirts & dresses), then further sub categorize (long sleeve, short sleeve), and then divide into colors.

• Hang your clothes on matching, neutral colored hangers, and place all pieces facing same direction.

MY FAQ’s:

 “How do you first approach a space? In other words, what’s the first thing you think about when you first see a client’s closet space/storage problem?”

First, I think in terms of the floor plan, making it as efficient and maximizing every square foot.

 “What is the biggest design obstacle you’ve overcome? i.e. awkwardly angled walls, electrical sockets in bizarre places, big collections in small spaces.”

The biggest obstacles force me as a designer to think outside of the box, and the result is a very unique, one of a kind design solution, tailored specifically to my client.

 “Since collaboration is such an integral part of the design process, how do you like to engage or connect with clients in order to help them realize their vision for a space?”

I like to design on site together with my clients. I get instant feed back and make adjustments to address my client’s wants and needs.

 “How are you inspired by a home’s existing décor? Is there anything specific that you look for during an in-home consultation?”

Each space is unique, yet reflecting clients lifestyle and personality.

 “What are some ways a custom designed home office can improve productivity? In other words, how does the right type of home office help people do business?”

Organization is key, when everything has its place, whether its office supplies, client files or equipment locations, work flow will be more efficient.
