      The engineering background of Closet Factory founder John LaBarbera provided him with the critical knowledge required to avoid the precarious wall-hung systems that others provided and to instead develop a structurally sound floor-based system.

      That crucial and fundamental decision would not only provide our clients with the unique ability to adjust the system to their own needs, but it became the foundation for the integral changes that revolutionized the closet industry.

      On February 9, 1983, Closet Factory opened its doors to provide people with custom closets, offices, entertainment centers, garage systems, pantries, bookshelves and more.
