    The Project: The Astoria in Central Park West

    • As part of ASID Orange County Chapter’s 2009 Design Tour team, Closet Factory was asked to design the closet spaces of six penthouse lofts for Astoria’s modern cosmopolitan high-rise complex.  The goal was to capture a contemporary upscale look and keep the project affordable for those with a mid-range budget.

      We began with our economical Essentials Series to address the primary need for organization. To achieve a luxurious look and feel, we chose the coffee-colored Espresso and White melamines accented with the textured, metallic-looking Geneva melamine. Then, enhancements were generously applied including matching backing, metallic accents and decorative hardware.
