    The Project: The Maher Residence in Dallas, TX

    • When Senior Designer Karalie met with Mrs. Maher to discuss her needs and desires for her master closet the goal became clear. Mrs. Maher wanted her wardrobe and all her accessories entirely enclosed behind doors yet be able to see everything at a glance. She wanted to rid herself of the bags and boxes she currently used to protect her handbag and shoe collection.

      To begin the project, Karalie had to approach the design work with a great deal of creativity. The existing walk-in closet had two large angled walls that typically would limit accessibility and prohibit enclosed hanging yet to her advantage the closet had 10 foot ceilings and was wide enough to include an island.
