    The Project: Fratzel Residence in Newport, NH

    • When expert home improvement blogger Todd Fratzel decided to take a break from his “DIY” projects for his own home, he selected Closet Factory Boston to create a solution for the kid’s playroom makeover.

      Paramount to the project was the Fratzel family’s need that the room be a flex-space. One the family would not just enjoy hanging out, playing and watch TV in, but also adapt to crafts and homework as the ever-changing needs and interests of his children evolved as they got older.

      Senior Design Consultant Laurie Miller’s challenge was to create a great amount of storage within the constraints of a more than average amount of obstructions within the room. Her primary design challenges were the large
    • windows, heat registers and pull down attic access.
