    Many years ago when the closet industry was just starting out, Closet Factory made the decision not to offer a wood dowel as our rod.  We wanted to offer a special closet rod that looked good but also had function that surpassed the common wood one.

    What we offered then, and still do to this day is a rod that is adjustable, fits any size hanger, allows hangers to glide smoothly and doesn’t easily tarnish or scratch.  Our standard rod will stand up to everyday wear and tear for the lifetime of our closets and will look great doing it.  

    The oval wardrobe tube with matching adjustable rod cups we chose to offer soon became an industry standard.  Of course back in our fledgling days, our rods only came in chrome or brass.  Now, you have an array of finish colors, tube shapes and diameters to choose from.  We also offer specialty rods, including large custom stationary and lighted rods.

    Today, Closet Factory offers closet rod finishes in polished chrome, satin chrome, black, oiled rubbed bronze, satin nickel, antique bronze, polished brass and white.  Rods are available in both oval and round tube shapes.
